Drum Set Musical Instrument
The drum set is a large double-headed drum, similar to the Tupan drum. It is a very old percussion instrument, which is constructed quite like it was in the early days. The drum set is one of the fundamental elements of traditional Turkish music. The drum has also been used for communication of warnings and announcements at events such as sporting events. These drums have both a deep bass sound and a thin treble sound due to their construction and playing style, where different heads and sticks are used to produce different sounds on the same drum.
